What is PulseMI™?

PulseMI — Michigan Electrophysiology & Heart Rhythm Symposium — is a biannual educational conference dedicated to advancing the care of patients with cardiac rhythm disorders through practical, case-based learning.

Founded in Detroit, PulseMI™ brings together electrophysiologists, cardiologists, fellows-in-training, advanced practice providers, and industry partners from across Michigan and the Midwest.

Our goal is simple:

Deliver focused, high-yield education that translates directly into better patient care.

Unlike large national meetings, PulseMI™ is designed to be:

  • Efficient

  • Practical

  • Interactive

  • Regionally relevant

Every session emphasizes real-world decision making, procedural technique, and implementation in everyday practice.

Our Mission

To foster a collaborative electrophysiology community in Michigan that advances innovation, education, and excellence in heart rhythm care.

Why PulseMI Was Created

PulseMI™ was founded on a simple observation:
Michigan has a strong and growing electrophysiology community, yet few opportunities exist for focused, in-person collaboration within the state.

Large national conferences provide breadth — but not always the practical discussions and regional connections that drive everyday clinical practice.

PulseMI™ was created to fill that gap.

The vision was to establish a recurring symposium where clinicians could:

  • Share real-world experiences

  • Discuss challenging cases

  • Learn emerging techniques

  • Build professional relationships across institutions

  • Support the next generation of electrophysiologists

Detroit — a city defined by innovation, resilience, and industry — was chosen as the home of PulseMI™ to reflect those same values in cardiovascular care.

The inaugural meeting focuses on Physiologic Pacing in 2026, a rapidly evolving area that exemplifies the intersection of innovation and clinical impact.

PulseMI™ aims to grow into a premier regional forum for advancing heart rhythm management while maintaining the intimacy and practicality that make meaningful learning possible.
